Wordspace presents Pegasus Reading Series: Huynh, Redmond, Ryckman, and moth face

This month Courtney Marie and Sebastian Paramo host Amanda Huynh, winner of the AWP Intro Journal Project Award; Jim Redmond, author of Shirts or Skins, winner of the Heavy Feather Review chapbook prize; Tatiana Ryckman, author of VHS and Why It’s Hard to Live; and music from moth face!!

Amanda Huynh
AMANDA HUYNH is a native Houstonian living in Virginia. She attends the MFA Creative Writing Program at Old Dominion University. She was a finalist for the 2015 Gloria Anzaldúa Poetry Prize, and recently was a recipient for the 2016 AWP Intro Journal Project Award. Her work is published or forthcoming in the following journals: Tahoma Literary Review, Huizache, Tinderbox Poetry Journal, Newfound Journal, and As/Us: Women of the World.

 

Jim Redmond
JIM REDMOND
received his MFA from the University of Michigan. He’s lived in Michigan for most of his life, but is currently a PhD candidate at the University of North Texas. Some of his poetry has been published or is forthcoming in Blackbird, BOAAT, Redivider, PANK, Diagram, and TYPO, among others. His chapbook, Shirts or Skins, won one of Heavy Feather Review’s chapbook prizes and was published as an insert in Heavy Feather Review 3.2.


Tatiana Ryckman

TATIANA RYCKMAN was born in Cleveland, Ohio. She is the author of the chapbooks Twenty-Something, and VHS and Why it’s Hard to Live. Her work has been published with Tin House, Everyday Genius, Entropy, and Hobart. More at www.tatianaryckman.com.
