Internationally renowned actor, writer, comedian and former mayor of Reykjavik, Iceland, Jon Gnarr will make his Dallas debut at Turner House to support the publication of his latest book, The Indian, published by Dallas-based translation publishing house Deep Vellum. The Indian is the first novel in a trilogy on Gnarr’s youth, growing up with learning disabilities and emotional scars.
Gnarr is currently Writer in Residence at Rice University focusing on writing, speaking on issues he holds most dear (world peace, sexual and gender equality, freedoms for writers and journalists) and performing stand up comedy.
